The Solar Eclipse Timer app was developed by an expert eclipse chaser and eclipse educator to enhance the experience of observing and photographing a total solar eclipse.

The app has gained recognition as the #1 eclipse timing app, widely used during the 2017 total solar eclipse that spanned across the United States. It has since proven successful for solar eclipses in 2019, 2020, 2021, and most recently in Australia in 2023. The ease of use is a standout feature of this app. With a simple "Two Tap Setup," users can effortlessly get started: geolocate themselves with just one tap and then load the contact times with another tap. No internet access is required for these calculations, as the app performs all its functions offline.
